Sidekick

A personal assistant built and run by Matt Kutz, for his own use.

Sidekick is a private software project. It runs on a server in Matt Kutz's home, is reachable only from his own devices, and has exactly one user: Matt. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and is not a commercial product or service.

What it does

• Reads Matt's own Gmail inbox each morning and prepares a short brief of what needs his attention.
• Reads his Google Calendar to show upcoming events alongside that brief.
• Keeps personal reminders and notes that he sets through a private chat interface.

Who can use it

Only Matt Kutz, signed in to his own Google account. No other Google account can authorize Sidekick, and no other person can reach it.
